1. Thiru M.R. Kanniah Naidu was born on 26th Decenber 1895 as the second son to Thiru M.Ragavalu Naidu and Thirumathi Thayammal. After completing his school education, he joined his father in his business. Right from the young age he was industrious
and deeply involved in the business. Hereafter he will be referred as 'chinnavar' as he was called by one and all in
the family with respect. No doubt he was in a commanding position in the business. He had high respect to his elder brother
Thiru M.R.Govindaswamy Naidu who was the prudent personality in the family. As narrated in the page of Thiru M.Ragavalu Naidu, the business
flourished very much. As his elder brother, Chinnavar also stepped into family stage as marriage was performed to him with
Thirumathy Devambal on.... Two children were born to them and they were

2. As his life was progressing well, he had a setback in his life as his wife Thirumathy Devambal
expired on 16th october 1918, when he was only 23 years of age at that time. The sudden demise of his wife had affected the
whole family very much especially his elder brother Thiru M.R.G.Naidu since he was near and dear to him. Yes no one can predict
death. It is the destiny that counts. Subsequently after a year or two another marriage was celebrated to him with Thirumathi
Yesodha ammal.

Even before this grief was disappearing, the family received another shock that his dear elder brother
Thiru M.R.Govindaswamy Naidu also lost his wife Thirumathi Kanniammal on Saturday, the 21st of August 1926. So both the brothers
being the elder members of the family lost their wives in quick succedssion unfortunately. Thiru M.R.Kanniah Naidu was only
31 years of age when he lost his wife Thirumathi Yesodhammal. Naturally his parents wanted him to get married again as he
was still young. So within about six months, his third marriage was celebrated with Thirumathi Rukmaniammal daughter of Thiru
S. Ramanjalu Naidu ,Kolar.
The following children were born to them: 1. Chi. M.K.Lakshmipathy born on 31st October 1927 2. Sow. M.K.Rajalakshmi born on........ 3. Chi. M.K.Ranghanathan
born on 10th Novmber 1932 4. Chi. M.K.Ramanujam born on 1st August 1934.
3.
All the above children were duly educated, got married and well settled with their family. Their details will be elucidated
in their respective pages. Thiru M.R.Kanniah Naidu while carrying on the business, he was also involved in religious
activities along with his elder brother. Though the business of M.R.&sons was going well, it had its own downfall
owing to incurring debts in the business. The setback in the business had arisen mainly due to heavy expenditure incurred
in the family without taking into account of the income aspect. The properties were sold to meet the debts. However he was
interested in continuing the business. His sons had started doing the plantain business seperately except Thiru M.K.Sudharsanam
started a separate business called M/s Globe Mirror Industries and Thiru M.K.Ramanujam entered in Government
service and joined ICF, Perambur.
4. In the later part of his
life, Thiru M.R. Kanniah Naidu along with his wife Thirumathi Rukmani ammal spent his life with his daughter
Thirumathi Rajalakshmi who was staying with her family at Aminjikarai. His son-in- law Thiru S.Venkataswamy
was also taking care his in-laws very well.
